Jet Carrying US Defense Secretary Forced to Touch Down in UK Due to Crack in Windshield

A jet carrying the US defense secretary was compelled to make an unscheduled landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was discovered in the plane's windshield, as stated by an official announcement which verified that Hegseth was safe.

"The plane touched down based on established safety measures and everyone onboard, among them Pete Hegseth, is secure," an official representative commented in a public statement.

The secretary was coming back from a brief trip to the Belgian capital at the time.

This event does not mark the first time that a American defense plane ferrying a top government figure has suffered technical problems.

Months ago, a US Air Force plane ferrying Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was forced to turn back to the US capital after suffering a mechanical problem.
